Business making the shift to e-invoicing

ticker ORIGINALS No Comments

From July 2022, e-Invoicing using the Peppol framework will be mandatory for all Commonwealth Government agencies, which will accelerate the adoption of e-Invoicing in Australia.

Despite the reports that it costs a business approximately $20 each time they create a paper receipt, it’s estimated that up to 90% of small and medium business in Australia still use paper-based processes.

Moving to e-invoicing isn’t just about meeting a government mandate, it’s about creating an efficient, streamlined system within the business that also provides insight into customers and their spending trends.

Having easy access to this data provides a strategic approach to decision making, giving businesses a competitive edge in the market, by understanding their customers habits.
